Hi! My name is Allison Gore. I am from Sumrall, MS and I will be a fifth generation teacher studying here at the University of Southern Mississippi. Yes. My great-great(?) grandmother was in one of the first classes here when the school was still known as a college for teachers. The year USM had its 100th anniversary was the year my grandfather turned 100. (It was his wife who was a student, became a teacher, and began the legacy for my family!)I'm not so sure of anyone doing a story on me though! I just think it is neat and an honor to be a part of the same legacy that began so long ago.
